Katherine
My name is Katherine Knapik, and I love to make music. I love to make people feel things. I've been singing for as long as I can remember. I've been in my school's chorus since I was in the second grade, and I've been in my church choir since the eighth grade.
I've been writing music almost as long as I have been singing. Words are beautiful to me, and I fall in love again and again setting poetry to music.
I have also had training in piano, alto clarinet, and alto saxophone performance.
My whole life is art. When I'm not singing, I'm writing poetry or composing music, or drawing and painting the people and the world around me. The world is a beautiful place, and it is my personal dream to inspire the people of this world with my music.
The release of my single, "Invincible" is incredibly important to me. I want girls to hear my music and feel good about themselves. I want to use the voice I've been given to advocate for mental health awareness, on behalf of so many people who don't feel like their voices are heard.
